Dunlop Roadsmart tires

Dunlop has worked hard on the development of its Roadsmart sport touring tire and after a day of testing the rubber during a deluged day in Malibu, CA, we came away impressed with its effort. The goal was to create a sport-touring tire that features class-leading handling in dry conditions, excellent wet weather performance and the durability demanded by long-haul riders.

I've only had my 2007 650 V-Strom a month or so now, but after riding and reading all that is published on this Suzuki wundercycle, it's hard to be modest. I mean, when you hear of Beemer F650 and GS riders opting for a brandy new V-Strom and praise it's lighter weight, linear power and torque, low maintenance, high reliability, uh... do you see what I mean? Once you get started it's hard to stop telling the world what you've found.

We've said it before and we'll say it again: For cash-strapped riderslooking to save money on gear, high-top sneakers make passable ridingboots. Not canvas Keds, mind you, but leather (or leather-like)basketball sneakers with padded ankles. That observation hasn't beenlost on today's Street Extreme riders, which is where Alpinestars'Stunt boots come in.

In what must have come as a shock to the motorcycle industry, enthusiasts and especially the good citizens of Marysville, OH, Honda of America Mfg., Inc announced February 27th that all bike production at its facility in that city will cease as of an unspecified date in the spring of 2009.

Wisconsin SportBikes ( www.wisconsinsportbikes.net ) in partnership with Blackhawk Farms Raceway in Rockton Illinois, ( www.blackhawkfarms.com ) is proud to announce their 2008 Trackday Schedule. At these events, there will be 4 groups running 15 minute sessions each. Groups will be Novice. Intermediate, and Advanced, and will also feature the Team Visionsports Riding Schools.
